Opened in the summer of 1996, The Links at Challedon immediately garnered recognition as one of the premier golf facilities in the Baltimore and Washington area. As time has matured this 6,700 yard, Par 72 Brian Ault design, it has now taken its place among the area's elite, consistently ranked by Washington Golf Monthly as "One of the Top 100 Places to Play." Meandering through the Challedon community, the course features large undulating bent-grass greens and strategically placed green side bunkers that have a traditional links design. Water comes into play on six of 18 holes, challenging golfers of all levels of ability. 

Course Facilities

The 3,800 square-foot clubhouse features a fully equipped golf shop and full service grillroom. The club also offers a complete practice area including a driving range, two putting greens and a chipping green with a practice bunker.

From the North
 Take Route 15 South. Exit at I-70 East. Follow I-70 to Exit 68. Turn left onto Route 27 North. Follow 27 North for about 4 miles. Turn right on Gillis Falls Road. Go 1 mile and take second left on Challedon Circle. Take second left on Clubhouse Drive. Follow to clubhouse.
From the South
Take I-270 North to Exit 16 Father Hurley Blvd towards Damascus. Follow 27 North for about 20 miles. Turn right on Gillis Falls Road. Go 1 mile and take second left on Challedon Circle. Take second left on Clubhouse Drive. Follow to clubhouse.
From the East
 Take I-70 West towards Frederick. Take Exit 73 Woodbine and take Route 94 North. Follow 94 North for 5 miles and turn left on Gillis Falls Road. Follow Gillis Falls Road for 5 miles and turn right on Challedon Circle. Take second left on Clubhouse Drive. Follow to clubhouse.
From the West
Take I-70 East to Exit 68. Turn left onto Route 27 North. Follow 27 North for about 4 miles. Turn right on Gillis Falls Road. Go 1 mile and take second left on Challedon Circle. Take second left on Clubhouse Drive. Follow to clubhouse.
